Dr. Kara Ford
Dr. Kara Ford, General Dentistry
Dr. Ford discovered her passion for dentistry early, beginning her career as a dental assistant while still in high school in her hometown in Kentucky. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Western Kentucky University and went on to graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2012.
Dr. Ford has dedicated much of her career to caring for pediatric and adolescent patients. As a mother of three, she understands the importance of gentle, compassionate dental care and works hard to ensure both children and parents feel comfortable, informed, and confident. She has a special interest in helping anxious and fearful patients feel at ease and is known for her calm, reassuring approach.
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and regularly pursues continuing education to stay current with best practices in children’s dental care.
Outside the office, Dr. Ford is active in her church community and spends much of her time supporting her children’s activities. When possible, she enjoys traveling and creating meaningful memories with her family. She is also proud to serve as a board member for Arts in Minton Community Youth Theater, where she helps support and encourage young performers.
